About Department

The one of the primary goal of BIGCE is that to expand the world of Technology and Business Applications. So Computer Science & Engineering profession as rapidly changing technology creates many opportunities & challenges for students.

Computer engineers work with the hardware and software aspects of systems design and development. They usually apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to design hardware, software, networks, and processes and to solve technical problems. Whereas their work emphasizes the application of theory, computer engineers are also involved in building prototypes. They often work as part of a team that designs new computing devices or computer related equipment, systems or software.

The Department of Computer science & Engineering established in the year 2006 offers UG programs. The Department of Computer science & Engineering is re-inaugurated by Hon. Sushil Kumar Shinde on 10th Feb.2009 And have all their computer centers equipped with art and technology in terms of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.

Our Mission is to provide our students the lifelong learning and leadership skills that enable them to grow in their professions and advance to positions of responsibility by effective Industry-Institute Interaction.

Vision

CSE seeks to ensure that its students and staff are equipped and empowered to contribute to the nation-building process and to the development of society at large.

Laboratory Facilities

To enhance the skills of students in this field the departments provide 5 separate labs, each equipped with the most advanced machines and accessories.

In each Lab there are 20 PCs with high end configuration and also having Centralized HP Server and installed online UPS for 5 hrs. backup.

T.E. CSE students have organized “Lakshya 10” event under which “C” competition, LAN Games, Aptitude test, Group discusion and personal interviews, paper presentation where handal under the guidance of HOD Prof. C.M. Jadhav & Prof. Uttarkar R.D.
  
Final year Students Mr. Ajay Vishwakarma and Mr. Rohit Vyas won 3rd Prize C/C++ Coding WIT solapur under the guidance of HOD Prof. C.M. Jadhav.
  
Final year students Lalitkumar Iyer, Yashshree Gund, Manjiri Birajdar, Rohit Vyas and Ajay Vishwakarma won 1st Prize project presentation national level at WIT solapur , 1st Prize project presentation national level at COEP Osmanabad, 3rd Prize project presentation at VIT pune & 1st in computer category , 1st prize in Idea Presentation – save the world event COEP Pune ( “Automatic Irrigation controller” )

The Ocean of technology Athang 2010
Athang is a technical paper presentation held on 25th sept 2010
organised by S.E. C.S.E. students with the help of Prof. Vrushali Lalsangi under the guidance of Prof. C.M. Jadhav (H.O.D C.S.E.).
The event was inaugurated by our hon.principal DR.A.H.Biradar
  
Under this event we come up with the many new technical research topics, which helps our student to improve their presentation and communications skills.
